A moisturizer has two jobs. It has to add water, and it has to keep that water from leaving. Most fall down on the second one.

Sodium Hyaluronate draws moisture into the skin. Squalane, Shea Butter, and Murumuru Butter then build the occlusive layer that holds it there, which is what keeps skin comfortable at hour eight rather than hour one. Organic Jojoba Oil closely mimics the sebum skin produces on its own, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. Green Tea Leaf Extract and Vitamin E work as antioxidants against the daily environmental stressors that dull skin over time.

It sits well under makeup and it is rich enough to work as a night cream, which is why one jar covers both ends of the day.

How to use it

Start with freshly cleansed skin, still slightly damp. Warm a small amount between your palms, then press it into your face and neck using upward motions. Morning and night.

Apply it to damp skin rather than dry. A moisturizer works by sealing in the water already there, so putting it on bone-dry skin gives it far less to hold.

If you use the Advanced Snail Mucin Essence, that goes on first and this seals it. For the eye area, follow with the Intense Hydra Eye Serum, which is built lighter for skin that a face cream can sit on rather than absorb into.

What you can expect

Skin usually feels softer and less tight from the first application, and looks more even and hydrated within the first week. Improvements in the appearance of firmness and fine lines build over four to eight weeks of daily use, because that is simply how long skin takes to respond to anything.
